Don’t Dress like Steve Jobs

Well not literally, but when it comes to how to dress to attract women, you’ll be better off not following the “be yourself” theory.  I call this the Steve Jobs way of thinking.  The late Steve Jobs famously stated, people didn’t know what they want until you give it to them.  Or put another way, some people say, wear what you like, and don’t care what others like.

These statements make some intuitive sense because at some level, you have to feel good about yourself to talk to women, right?  But its not that easy, if you feel good wearing a robe all day, you’re not going to meet girls.

A better way to approach your clothing style is to dress in what’s in style.  Within reason, it doesn’t matter if you feel good in the clothes, if girls think you look good and cool, wear it.  This is actually the mainstream way of thinking. If you look at men’s magazines, or internet sites such as –  Askmen.com, or www.goodlookingloser.com this is what you’ll hear.

Master speaker Dale Carnegie used to say that you give people what they want, not what you want.

Carnegie said if you’re out fishing, you should put worms on your hook. Even if you really like strawberries, the fish don’t like strawberries, and don’t care what you like.

While things such as earrings, bracelets, and necklaces may feel strange, hopefully the hot chicks you’re having sex with will help you get over it. But, if you own a company like Steve Jobs, then don’t worry about it.
